Which countries remained active?
Does anybody made a guess of how many country we left and where we are still active?
Class B Stock
Does anyone the current class b share price?
Stormy days are back
More downsizing. I no longer have a job and I'm told I'm not the only one. Anyone know how widespread it is this time? Just lovely timing. Cheers and peace.
Calm before the storm?
It seems very quiet on this Riverbed forum. What is happening?
So DS is now an Operating Advisor at TB?
https://www.thomabravo.com/team?id=dan-smoot So I guess he's positioning himself for life after the titanic?
How much going for PE debt interest?
Anyone know what percent of operating income in a recent year has gone toward paying debt interest?
Are you seeing any action to backup the talking points?
Lots of chatter about focus. Are you seeing that talk materialize in real action yet?
Farewell AE!
PM gone, AE gone ... now we just need an upgrade to SE leadership
Jan 1st Rumors
Just wondering if anyone had any idea of what Jan 1 might look like? We know that Aternity, will be treated as a new TB Start Up. Does the final separation allow for the solution to be sold via "with" all other TB holdings. Sounds like SI growth is... — read more
AE’s email
So we’re calling mission accomplished on what sounds like a POC? Yawn. Wake me when we really close the deal with six zeros or more.
Our New CEO
I have to admit, I am impressed with who we have chosen as our new CEO. This guy seems real genuine and knowledgeable. It wouldn't have taken much from our last one to raise that bar, but I think we hit it out of the park with this one. Nice... — read more
How’s Aternity going?
Just wondering if the whole corporate split and chaos was worth it.
SI back in action
He hogged all the limelight during JK tenure but was barely seen when PM was there. Now that PM is gone, the floodgates seems to have been open again for him
What’s going on in IT?
Contractor in IT here. I get a sense something is a-brewing but can’t quite put a finger on it. Am I getting screwed? What’s the leadership really up to? I hear the new IT head thinks big but no real substance when it comes to walking the talk... — read more
How are things going?
I got laid off in July as part of the last big restructure. This week, a recruiter called asking if I would interview for a position. I’m already working for a different tech company, but I thought I would at least speak to them. How are things... — read more
Riverbed was "a mistake" for the investor
From this article in Forbes: https://www.forbes.com/sites/antoinegara/2019/10/02/meet-wall-streets-best-dealmaker-new-billionaire-orlando-bravo/ "And he’s not immune to mistakes. [Investor's] $3.6 billion 2015 acquisition of San Francisco-based... — read more
TB's vote of no confidence
The company can spin all they want but what happened was clearly a vote of no confidence in the existing leadership team. Sadly, they're right.
Meeting
Sudden meeting tomorrow. What is it all about ? Any hints ?
That doc sales signs at end of quarters....
You know. The one about side deals, real orders etc Some one might want to ask Pm Ae Jr and Ls how they - as officers of the company - knowingly and wantonly lie. It’s a shame their lack of integrity has infected rvbd.
What is being sold?
Predictions? Aternity formally spun off, no longer a Division of RIverbed? A Large networking company scoops up what is left and buys OEM partner as well? Seems like SFO is ready for another RIF or buy out. Thoughts? Predictions? Wishful... — read more
Where are costs being cut?
Is any department picking up any full timers?

We are losing our best people
Is our leadership doing anything to prevent people from leaving? Some of our best people, at that. If you wanted a definition of a brain drain, you could just point to Riverbed. At this rate, soon anybody with more than one year under their belt... — read more
Is the fed space hurting this bad or just commercial?
Seems like everything is taking a turn for the worst. Is it just commercial or is the ship really sinking this bad. I know one site like this you just hear all the horror stories but damn it seems bleak.
How is Q3 looking?
Just a feeler post to see how this quarter was doing? Please only post if you have knowledge. We have enough derogatory threads on here already :)
Stop asking people to “believe me”
Mgmt needs to stop asking people to “believe me”. Demonstrate to the employees that you have a realistic and solid plan and we will believe. Also, stop promoting people into VP roles when they have zero or one report. It’s pathetic.
Any pockets of success?
Are there any teams making progress in developing new innovative products at Riverbed? Are any sales people or sales teams hitting their numbers and making any money?
An Ode to Riverbed
If Riverbed was McDonalds and you wanted a number 3 meal it would be like this. You would show up and ask for a number 3. After 40 managers pass an email around and 20 phone calls you would get an empty cup. Shrugging you go to get a coke as f— it... — read more
glassdoor 2019
Wow, glassdoor really tells the 2019 Riverbed story! SO SAD. But the reviews are SO ACCURATE.
Leaving
So have people started leaving on their own since the last rif, are these openings going to be filled now?
So many VPs, so many do-nothing resources
That's the general problem of the company. Clean up the ranks!
Is it possible to reapply after being laid off?

A question for people who have left or are leaving

OCTO departures

Sadly
Sadly the layoffs did let go some good people that were needed. I would mind another round of layoffs so as long as it targets upper management - seems like the more incompetent the executes are, the more “Directors”, “senior directors” and VP’s they... — read more
