Thread regarding Riverbed Technology Inc. layoffs

Sadly

Sadly the layoffs did let go some good people that were needed. I would mind another round of layoffs so as long as it targets upper management - seems like the more incompetent the executes are, the more “Directors”, “senior directors” and VP’s they have. People wonder by old companies like Ford, IBM and HP have so much upper and middle management - it’s to easily hide from the firing squad by providing more larger targets in front of them.

So sad that these old and crooked people dont realize that we all know this. Hence every time a RIF happens with this type of management, people take it personally because it’s “NOT BUSINESS”

Passive Aggressive? I am someone that actually enjoys their job and tired of the negativity. Too much complaining and not enough effort! Many of you post talking about leadership not doing their job. Can you look in the mirror and say you gave effort today, you really earned your salary? Take a deep breath, breath that wonderful San Fran air, and remember, this is work, it's a job and an obligation.

Here is a suggestion, find your happy place or leave!

There are people that are happy @RVBD, its sad that those that are not and would rather complain vs find another role. Little lazy are you? Complacent? Sounds like some folks just need to go!

Job market is good, best of luck. Passive aggressive? Nope Boston Strong, we work for a living back East! "How you like them apples?"

Riverbed just abused the lame OCTO title so bad. Some members are glorified QA/PM, others are loud mouths with “industry certs” and some are just ok but no means an innovator or forward thinker. They’re just average people with the most time on their hands, whom received preferential treatment for a unfounded title and never showing any results and having smoke blown up their asses by n00bs and tech rejects for years all contributed to their egos.

Sorry but this promo is bogus - modern leadership would see right through this.
