Thread regarding Riverbed Technology Inc. layoffs

Stormy days are back

More downsizing. I no longer have a job and I'm told I'm not the only one. Anyone know how widespread it is this time? Just lovely timing. Cheers and peace.

As far as I aware, no layoff in the region as nothing much left anyway. But the remaining incompetent senior management are still around running the circus happily and flying around merrily.

I am happy (in a positive manner) to see my manager leaving soon while the rest of us are still looking out excluding the clowns running the show and blowing trumpet all the time (seriously) like mentally r—ds. You can demonstrate more intelligence by keeping your mouth shut. You really make a fool of yourself.

For the previous senior management if you are reading this and hopefully you know who you are because most of us know. You are such an id–t to pick the wrong leader to lead our team as not every technical individual is suitable to be a leader. Change is not always for the better. By far, this is the worst leader (more of a manager) who is bias, made bad decisions, and do not have any leadership traits. You have no respect from the team at all. Continue to stay behind and rot as we do not ever want to see you in our next company.

I’m afraid stormy days have been around for ~2 years plus. It’s been a slow yet gradual decline ever since TB took it private. I would argue before that when McCanne left was the actual start of issues.

Everyone hoping for a turnaround which I fear isn’t coming. They made a huge bet on RVBD and basically lost, SDWAN was completely fudged imo.

I suspect the new CEO has been tasked with trying to salvage what he can.

At least 5 Aternity SEs gone. Not sure how many reps. What happened to "were gong to double the sales force!"?

Not surprisingly, the Aternity story, without SteelCentral, is getting the MAS*H “bird impressions” response.

Does this mean the Aternity business is struggling?
