Contractor in IT here. I get a sense something is a-brewing but can’t quite put a finger on it. Am I getting screwed? What’s the leadership really up to? I hear the new IT head thinks big but no real substance when it comes to walking the talk. Starting to be the same old c-ap. Talk is cheap AF, even for a TB person.

Same old story lack of leadership .... new IT leader made his one favorite who has his own favorites... repeated injustice to other IT resources, where in favoritism(not by knowledge or skills) favorite people are being promoted.... craziest example is a recent IT Engineer is promoted to a Director role in couple of months....
Sorry but this dumpster-fire of a company isn't a forerunner in anything, just look out for yourself, get your cash, and bail.

8 weeks to go. Not counting shut downs.
Change doesn’t happen over night or within 4-8 months, this is normal. So hang in tight and I’m sure things will be made clear once this year closes out.
