Google would make everyone interview for their role. Many will fail the interview, only a few will pass.
Well some can claim that they r growing in this company. Also if Google acquires us even for $500m for the patents, we can go with fat titles and salaries at these companies

More or less the same line they fed the last hapless hangers-on at Radio Shack, Wang, Peoplesoft, Sybase and so many other carcasses dotting the boneyard. Prospective employers are much more likely to ask why you hung on so long to such an obviously sinking ship.
For those remaining, I see a silver lining. Yes you have to do more, but you will also likely be given more responsibilities and resources to do your job. Assuming you have half a brain and know how to keep a job, it is unrealized $ for down the road. And when you do decide to leave for another gig, you’ll have plenty of ammo to throw at your next employer. If there’s something new to learn, take it.

It's obvious they don't care who leaves or how many leave. I can't watch many more leave before joining them. I'm not high enough up for one of the many executive promotions going on while people are heading for the fire exits.
