Bonus vibes

Hearing that for the nth time the powers that be are forcing managers to lower performance ratings for senior staff from 3s and 4s to 2s -presumably so the total bonus payout is reduced

Meanies

I know we have all gone through a lot of changes. I have noticed that since Sept 2020 the culture at LSEG has progressively gotten worse. People are sometimes just plain mean. Anyone else witnessed this decline?

Glint - let them know how you feel

If people don’t take the survey, it will lead to senior leaders thinking all is wonderful and cozy. Please do take the survey, it’s essential that management knows how team members really feel. In my opinion, most are not happy nor secure in their... — read more

Anyone else think the recent marketing video looks like it was knocked up by an amateur and for the life of me I’m trying to remember what other company had a very similar marketing campaign advert (obviously not great if it cannot be remembered) — read more

6% of staff are in offshore locations - LSEG factually has the most offshored staff for a financial services company globally. What are people in the UK’s thoughts on this especially given that London jobs are reducing and being moved out of the... — read more

Rampant nepotism

Perhaps I don't have as much experience as some others do, but until now I have never worked in a company where nepotism is as prevalent as here. Frustrating isn't it?

Are we being tracked? Yes

Have it on very good authority (via security source) that attendance in Canada Sq is being monitored & weekly visits per employee are being recorded

ELT Arrogance beyond limits

Unbelievable arrogance on the all marketing town hall today. Our CFO Brigitte Trafford with her court climbed up to the heights avoiding questions from slido. Wondering what makes us joining her ridiculous show.

The biggest demotivators?

Is there a bigger demotivator than an arrogant manager who is impossible to talk to because he doesn't have enough technical knowledge and his ego is the size of a mountain? I can't wait to leave.

SLIDO question dodging in Town Halls

The next time you are invited to any town hall at this place see how many questions are dodged in Q&A at the end. It’s almost a tactic to delay the start or have the hosts talking for longer so they conveniently run out of time at the end. When they... — read more

Anna Manz salary increase of £100,00

Anna Manz received a £100,000 increase from £650,000 to £750,000. Look at page 116 of the 2022 annual report. A 15.38% increase. Poor thing she must be suffering with the cost of living crisis. The guidance was to give bigger increases to staff on... — read more

4th quarter '22

Surprised to not find anything about this on this page. 80-100 people in the UK given redundancy packages. Not sure about how many in the other locations. The £50m additional cost synergies promised to investors had to come from somewhere.

There are almost no reasons worth staying here anymore. I'm still here only because I don't want to miss the package.
