SLIDO question dodging in Town Halls

The next time you are invited to any town hall at this place see how many questions are dodged in Q&A at the end. It’s almost a tactic to delay the start or have the hosts talking for longer so they conveniently run out of time at the end. When they do want to take Q&A it’s usually the bu-t licking HR person or some other promotion seeking minion who own this process and quite often they are far to scared to pose the difficult questions to their superior Sith Lord. Indeed, any town halls here are usually absolute bullsh*t self promoting codswallop and it cannot just be me that thinks this. Happy to take any Questions…

@fosg+1mcAgQZk That kind of tone-deafness and lack of self-awareness from "leadership" was much of the reason why I left. Everything from the terrible pay, the broken processes, the rampant offshoring, the OTT wokeness (10ft-high posters of g-y men kissing up in 5CS)... The feral overclass seems to revel in mugging us all off.

I liked how the new head of D&A had to drop in he was having a well deserved holiday to the Caribbean first before taking his new role, we certainly didn’t need to know that?

D&A townhall in progress - question about below-inflation pay rises for most people for the second year in a row is top of slido but looks like they are now saying they're "running out of time" and now it's over! Another dodge

@7pie+1mcAgQZk watching Andrea Remyn Stone's abysmal performance on that notorious call was an absolute riot. I think she was almost in tears by the end of it, but it was well-deserved, especially after trying to defend forced ranking. It was a revelation for me too -- my line manager outed himself as a management bootlicker, trying to defend that absolute farce. There was no more wide-open Slido after that. Can't be saying the Emperor has no clothes now, can we??

Live slido questions stopped more than a year ago as the most probing and embarrassing questions became the top voted ones and management didn't have the stomach to take those questions. Town halls have been meaningless for over a year as moderation of questions chip away at any remaining staff freedom

It depends on your locality doesn’t it though… 5% not joining versus the 95% ‘offshored’ (swear word) who will join for fear of repercussions in that locality if they don’t. Therefore it won’t make any difference.

Stop joining the Townhalls. They are meaningless, and no value.
Also if enough people stop joining them, this puts the management in very poor position, as it's obvious sign the lost the authority.

Ha ha ha so true, we had one the other week and the host wasn’t even facing us on the screen just talking to the local office they were in (that’s after the amateurs actually got teams to work by unmuting because they couldn’t be heard for 20minutes). They avoided SLIDO Q&A but wanted you to use it for their pointless quizzes pmsl This place is run by cheap under qualified overseas labour. It’s like a comedy sketch of howlers. Basically it’s a lesson in how to demotivate and belittle your staff and your getting A* at it you stupid c*nts
