If I ever get paid more, then I will make greater effort, but until then I don't want to burden myself and ruin my health just so that someone else can be paid more. In fact, why do people do this to themselves, working till burnout without being adequately compensated for it? Think you'll save your job that way?

It absolutely didn't in my case. To the pampered yet ineffective leadership who run this outfit from their luxury digs up in PSQ, workers are mere ammunition to be expended, while they award themselves massive raises and thumb their noses at long-suffering staff and customers. I am kicking myself for not seeing the writing on the wall years earlier. I might've saved myself a severe case of burnout.
