I worked for the original Beta, which was yhe data processing arm if regional stock brokerage Blunt Ellis & Loewi in Milwaukee.
Awesome place to work at the time (mid to late 80’s), then it went to sh-t.
Layoffs at Betanxt started in March. Steve The Destroyer has soiled a once stable company, some say.
No surprise that the rumor now is that Steve Daffron of Motive Partners (the PE) is planning to CUT his way to financial health via layoffs and shipping US jobs to India, and lots of them. Big layoffs are rumored to coming in Feb – March, 2024. US BetaNXT workers: You’ve been warned
It's the Beta and Maxit businesses which were formerly part of D&A Wealth Management, but sold to Motive Capital which created a business out of these called BetaNxt. This is no longer owned by LSEG.
