Is there a bigger demotivator than an arrogant manager who is impossible to talk to because he doesn't have enough technical knowledge and his ego is the size of a mountain? I can't wait to leave.

The guy managing finance service operations out of India is a prime example. Hasn’t a clue. Won’t be long before he is rumbled although he talks a great game and is kissing some serious ELT a55
Lots of individuals like that here. They tend to talk a good game but are heavily reliant on the staff underneath them to do the slave work. Some managers do not even know how to use the technology which they would have everyone believe they are experts in and tend to bluff a way through for years on big juicey salaries skipping on to the next internal adventure when it seems like they are about to be found out. It’s riddled with bluffers.
