Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

A poor way to innovate.

Medtronic took outside investment for structural heart R&D, and now structural heart is of hundreds of millions of dollars in the hole, with every product delayed, mired in incompetent leadership From Nina down to directors. Nina, who works remote, brought in a VP, Sunny Kankanala, who works remote, filled with engineers that all have "collaboration days". This seems a poor way to innovate.

Is Nina the same Ol’Lady who failed at running multiple businesses ? Including 2 in CRDM, 1 in CVG, 1 in Diagnostics & Monitoring and some internal start-ups.. all failed and she’s still around.
Must she possess some SPECIAL skills in surviving this long; should have retired 15 years ago.

This is happening at other sites too. R&D is being pushed to find ways to cut costs and time instead of innovating to better patients’ health.

The mission is just a bunch of useless words.
