Seemed like the president of ISG was reading out large parts of his presentation, that's embarrassing at his level
AE's are next
Look, I get it, you're all sick of the in the know updates. What I read today was shown to me by a SVP. The meat of it was AE's will be focused on next, it mentioned kpi's and pips. It is probably expected, but it's now in writing and will be... — read more

Coal or ca$h in our stocking?
Any ideas what if any % bonus remote workers will get this year. It would be pretty harsh to layoff so many AND keep the bonus $ too. Managers feel free to chime in if you have received any guidance on this too.
Fed up with office drama
What the he-l has happened to Dell? I’m so done with all the office drama. Why can’t I just get some peace to focus on my work? Is that really too much to ask? It’s exhausting dealing with all the nonsense when all I want is to finish my tasks and... — read more
I’m still here but is my pay fair?
Raising this from a sub-comment to a topic: with all that’s going on, RTO, work conditions, ongoing impacts, etc, I keep reading posts that Dell pay is low. Is there data to prove this? Is anyone willing to share their functional area, location... — read more
My team is barely functioning
Any chance they’ll ever look into teams missing important roles? I would work more now if I knew it would pay off in the future. Since I know it won’t, I have no reason to pull for all those who are no longer here.
Will Hiring numbers ever increase?
Is Dell expected to hire more people next year? There are quite a few people I know still looking for jobs in my hometown and despite the pessimism, Dell is a big employer here.
I got the heads up…
Expect my team to be back 5 days per week next year. Remotes will need to relocate or take a package
Why stay so long?
Is anyone really happy here? I was on a team with several 10-20y dell employees. I knew within 1 year working at dell was pointless. The tech stack and problems were really not that interesting and being poorly adopted. Apparently there are... — read more
"Coffee Badging"
What are your thoughts on "Coffee badging"... It's is an 'at work' trend where employees show up to the office for a short time (just to get credit for being present that day), and then they leave to work remotely for the rest of the day...

Three interviews in three weeks
Things are finally looking up! It’s been a while since I’ve gotten even a response to any of my job applications, but these last few weeks have changed that. I’m not sure if any of it will lead to something, but at least it’s given my self-confidence... — read more
Overtime hours
Many are told to not input overtime hours into the reporting tools how are these hours addressed what happens to this non documented time as part of redundancies also can anyone explain why we are pressured not to input our over time hours.
Yet another offsite
I’ve never seen a management team have so many offsites as this current management team especially in ISG. These costs tens if not hundreds of millions a year in waste. You can have as many offsites to try to figure out how to resolve your... — read more
If there’s 5-day RTO, all I can say is goodbye
WFH has been the only option for me. I am far away from any hubs, and would be able to come to the office daily only if I fly. I have started working remotely years before Covid, and that’s always been a great way for me to do a meaningful and... — read more
We all knew full RTO mandate is coming
Because it’s just another way to get rid of as many of us as possible without having to pay for it.
ISG Support
Does anyone from ISG support caring to share their feelings, concerns? I have seen wfr after wfr, add outsourcing to damned wipro and AI, I am not sure how long do we have here in US.
So what now?
We got rid of so many people, most of them actually competent and hard working, and now what? I don’t see that there is an actual plan. Not only that layoffs haven’t served any higher purpose, but there is no higher purpose whatsoever. Cuts should... — read more
Middle managers at Dell
I’ve always believed a good middle manager should be looking ahead, ensuring the team is set up for success, and constantly developing their people. They should be clearing away any roadblocks so the team can excel. But how many of those middle... — read more

Retired
Dell will fall hard. Can't wait to see it.
This one's for the sales people
Hello team! I've had a thought. This new Dell where we have to "do more with less" seems to be setting a majority of us up for failure. Hear me out. I'm all for admitting when I have a bad quarter and owning it. But lately, they have cut so many... — read more
DDOS -- is it the worst, most unorganized product in ISG?
It seems to be that the DDOS product is the literally the worst managed product in ISG. It's old, it's developers are stuck in 2006 and it's management can't think outside the box at all. It's stuck and will eventually die, it just su-ks oxygen out... — read more
