Field Engineer no Work Orders

I’ve been sitting at home for three days straight with no Work Orders. Any other FSE/CE in the same boat?

Any new info on when we will be replaced by partners?

Feels like that day is fast approaching.

Sounds like we need less field engineers.

Are you on dynamic scheduling, w Unisys, that initiative is now rolled out in several areas in US. Yes seeing slow down in my area also.

I agree the day is approaching fast when all of us FSE will not be kept.

I assume, management is only waiting, to make the process of Unisys handling work orders, be smoothed out with little issues. Then several FSE will be released.

Probably this will be sooner rather than later.

You're sitting at home because of no work orders and those if us that create the work orders are being lectured for "excessive work order creation."

Offshore PM
Unisys hardware installs
Offshore SA
Offshore IS

If you are working for services delivery or field service look forward to lean times. Not sure if Consulting is still safe.

CS work has been moving to Unisys for ages. Used to be just installs - but more recently break fix as well.

I have heard they are moving all break fix to unisys. It's time to become an SDE.

Start looking for another job ASAP, you need to have a backup plan. In the mean time, if you are still getting paid to do nothing...I wouldn't complain.
