What the future holds for Citrix?

I am not looking forward to the downward trajectory of this company, but it will be interesting to watch from a distance how all this will look in a few years.

How is this a good business strategy?

Constantly getting rid of the little people with pay that is laughable compared to the C-suite but always keeping that level intact when one of their pay could cover in some cases pays of hundreds of employees. This isn't a new thing, either. This... — read more

Is this Mission Impossible?

But the Hollywood actor with similar name is so much more competent at his work! Confucius say… if you don't want anyone to get your goat, don't let them know where you have it tied.

Does Tom Krause Understand Citrix Core Technology???

Citrix allows end users to work from home. If the feedback on this board is correct and he is pushing for his employees to return to the office, that goes directly against his companies core technology. Maybe something he shouldn't project to the... — read more

December?

TK announced that he expects remaining personnel changes to start in December. I assume that excludes whatever is happening in the UK at the moment.

The majority intended to leave anyway

I hope that everyone affected will get better jobs soon. My question is how much longer were you planning to stay here if you hadn't gotten notice in the meantime? Somehow I think that many who were impacted certainly did not intend to be here... — read more

Instead of stress, a relief!

I thought that I would never say this and that I would be very worried if I was laid off, but now I actually only feel a great relief.

Why cut the best?

These people will surely find a job very quickly in a better company because they have a great skillset, but I still don't understand why Citrix cuts the best and leaves the worst here. It's a very stupid strategy.

How big is the layoff

Heard there is a company wide layoffs. Can I know which groups are impacted and how big is the laoff?

How picky are you?

Given that there are many tech layoffs everywhere, the competition on the job market is huge because many people apply for one position, and with all that, the end of the year is not the best time to look for a new job - - I am thinking about... — read more

Unfortunate, but no surprise

Mgmt so out of touch with reality…gone are the days where you could just bang away on the 4th floor and pitch SDX

On the bright side, you no longer have to work for an absolute joke of a company with leadership that wants to do nothing but milk existing customers until they're dry and sell everything for parts.

I'm surprised there's still severance

The company is aiming to achieve maximum savings. Layoffs cost a lot of money and severance is not guaranteed by law. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if at some point in time they stop providing severance altogether. Frankly, with 4 weeks plus 2... — read more
