I thought that I would never say this and that I would be very worried if I was laid off, but now I actually only feel a great relief.

I'm still troubled by my own apathy. How on earth did I justify staying at this awful company for so long? I just begged my manager to include me in the layoff. I'm done with this company and its obsolete technology. Onward...
Me too. I signed my agreement last night and shipped back my computer today. I love it!! Citrix was great, and it dominated my life for a decade, but now it’s time to turn the page. Good luck to everyone and goodbye friends! {{deuces}}
At least the waiting is over for you. I usually react the same way - either keep me or cut me, but don't leave me hanging forever.
