These people will surely find a job very quickly in a better company because they have a great skillset, but I still don't understand why Citrix cuts the best and leaves the worst here. It's a very stupid strategy.

Just remember this, Krause has no respect for longtime employees. They have the highest salaries, the biggest egos, and the least current technical skills. I've been surrounded by these people that like to tell me about the "glory years" at Citrix. Frankly, I couldn't care less. This company's history clearly has no impact on its ability to evolve and prosper.
In reality, Citrix has been a rotting carcass for too long. Finally, taking its last breath.
Ohhh now that would be interesting, if they sold the old Citrix HQ buildings. Already sold that massive sales building. Would not be surprising if they wanted to scout the market and see what the offers are like for the space they have remaining... would be odd with their big push towards RTO though.
Correct Citrix is no more . The 2 companies will start over as new.
Was reading that since the climate , recession etc. that the focus for Krause
Is all based on cost cutting , sell buildings and parking lots and people .
If anything pops up take it . Not sure they will even be in Florida anymore .
Been around since the founding .
Some bean counter is just looking at roles vs salaries and making decisions based on the highest line item.
