Now is the time to start working smarter instead of harder. Start complimenting your boss, make sure that whatever you do makes him or her look good, and start kissing the right as--s. All of this will make sure you stay at Citrix no matter what. If I have learned anything in my more than a decade here it's that sycophants stay and those who work hard are cut. Why would we bother to work hard then if that's not a guarantee we'll be spared?

My direct boss is not the problem. They are as much of a victim of this as we are. Those who are at fault don't even know any of us exist except a summary line item on a balance sheet somewhere.
Smh. I really think this kind of attitude is what got us here in the first place. Good luck to you
There seemed to be good mix of hard workers and a-s kissing yes men/women gone in the 1st round so if this is your strategy I hope you have a back up plan!
Krause is a cancer without a cure.
So you want me to bend the knee because it might get me some job security? A lot of good that did the folks that just got laid off. I have a spine and a marketable skill set that I’ve been sharpening over the better part of a decade. I’ll opt for a better workplace and leaving with my integrity in tact, thank you.
No one that I know at Citrix needs to stick around and eat s—t. But the prevailing suggestion seems to be that there aren’t any options outside of the company for us. I didn’t work as hard as I did during my career to land there. I’m getting out, and I hope many others do as well. We deserve better than Tom Krause.
