All companies have a number of employees who aren't "essential." If every employer took the Vista approach to find out just how few people are really needed, half of America would be unemployed. Let's be grateful most don't do that.
Based on my own experience, seems like Citrix had a lot of "nice people" that were there for many years, but had little to show in the way of accomplishments for their time at the company. Anyway, that doesn't matter anymore since there's no place to hide from Krause and his cronies
yes , i was at headquarters today . yes some contacts got notice today , some over the phone. this will be on going. the focus is all financial first. and to unload real-estate.
if you have any options i would take the leap.
If you're wanting to leave, now is a good time to tell your manager that you volunteer to be included in the next group of layoffs. Krause and his sock puppet leadership team will move you to the front of the long line of remaining terminations planned for the coming weeks.
They definitely weren't done with the layoffs yesterday. Give it some time.
