Keyboard tough guys? TK is a gigantic piece of Monkey cr-p.. and his defenders on here need to pull his meat out of their mouths.
I'm surprised nobody is blaming the previous leadership. What did you guys think was going to happen after that Wrike sale? A subpar product that DH bought for literal billions for no reason whatsoever when the company should have been capitalizing on WFH infrastructure for small companies to survive during the pandemic. Tom Krause isn't here to carry the company, guys. He's not here to be a good guy. He's here to bleed the company dry and sell it for parts, and I'm sure he's not worried what you weirdos think of him personally. If you don't like it, find another job.
People, you are looking at what TK is doing and not thinking about why he is there in the first place. Yes, he is the henchman for PE. Yes, he is the CEO to do a massive cleanup job, and make loads of money for himself and his bosses at the PE. Buy why is he here?
If Citrix was doing well financially, would TK be here?
If Citrix didn't stumble by just sticking to VDI and DaaS and then getting clobbered by Microsoft, would TK be here?
If Citrix didn't do the d-mb mistakes like creating a Workspace, buying Sappho and wasting it, would TK be here?
If Citrix hadn't bought Wrike, sunk $2.2B into what was at best worth half of that, would TK be here?
If Citrix was clamored by customers and kicking a-s in the market, would TK be here?
If you had built or sold better products instead of doing the same old stuff with your products that customers selected years ago but are not excited about today, would TK be here?
A little introspection please. Yes TK is not the loving, kind CEO that you think you had.. But those people and possibly you, are why TK is here...

Tom Krause is merely doing what he's paid to do, over and over again.
Men like him have no soul, no friends, and nobody who wants to be around them (unless they have no choice, like his wife). Yes, what he does is deplorable, but if it wasn't Krause it would be another sad and lonely human being.

Some of the hate is regular fear of change, the unknown. A second bag of hate is how he not even pretending to value employees or treat people with respect, even when it costs him nothing. The third hate is is related to the second and fear that he is incompetent, destroying a product line, a culture with no way back, he the emperor with no clothes, totally confident but totally incompetent.
I read his resume on Linkedin. He's someone who stays at a position for a short time, and steps on everyone to climb to the next level. He has no REAL experience running a company (and it shows). He was a bean counter before his latest experiment. He bought a degree from Princeton so it makes him feel special. And, as we've seen, he's the exact opposite of what the Citrix culture was...
