There was no way to describe the pure joy, ecstasy and delight I felt when I got the boot this week. My life has been returned to me and I made a promise to never join such an incompetent bunch of fools ever again. The Shitrix mgmt make a clown car look capable of screwing in a light bulb.
I can finally enjoy the smile of my children, spend time with them and put this whole sordid episode behind me. Shitrix was just a fly going splat on the windshield and I will never look back.
Thank you good lord for granting me the strength to prevail.

Thanks for the life advice, a##- kisser, but I'm not miserable. I'm happy to stay and wait for my $$$$$ in severance. The more money we cost Vista, the better.
I agree, it's odd that there are so many people still waiting to be fired. The thing that's also puzzling to me is how they feel they're entitled to a big severance package. They don't have the courage to find a better job, so Citrix owes them for being pathetic employees.
Anyone who suffered for many years yet chose to stay at Citrix needs counseling more than anything. There's no amount of money that is worth accepting this pitiful situation.

As many have said before, most that are unhappy but staying are waiting for severance. For many of us that is a pretty large chunk of money.
I wish I understood these posts... If you were that miserable just leave... No one was stopping you from putting a resume out and going somewhere else months or years ago? What makes you people stay somewhere you hate for YEARS?
Glad your happy I guess, next time don't let some job keep you miserable and then wait on them to give you "joy" by firing you.
I will probably be part of the small scale layoffs next year, after they have squeezed everything I've got to give. Will I last till then? I want to go now.
