Was the best thing happening to me, I got severance which was quite good + 2 months of vacation and a new job immediately with even higher salary... I hope the people who will get laid of this time will be as lucky as me. The people in this company where awesome but high leadership which where outside of Prague incompetent sharks...

I disagree with the idea that US employees aren't being treated fairly. Layoffs suck for everyone, but the Citrix severance package is very fair. This idea that everything is just "better" in the UK is naive to say the least.
More employees across Europe will be impacted, and join the ongoing layoffs in the U.S. locations. It's also true that Europeans are treated better due to local government policies about severance terms and conditions.
In America, employers have the flexibility to dispose of people quickly and with very little financial or healthcare benefit support. The typical U.S. business mindset is inhumane.
