I hope that everyone affected will get better jobs soon. My question is how much longer were you planning to stay here if you hadn't gotten notice in the meantime?
Somehow I think that many who were impacted certainly did not intend to be here for a long time or maybe I am not right?

Keeping my eyes closed head down until I cash my RSUs 2023 and then I’ll gopher and plan my exit. Luxuries and benefits of being public are gone so what’s left?
My RSU unless I get canned before I pass and collect.
Old-timer here. I actually like the fact that my team is getting the kick u p the ar-e needed to get leadership into gear and start doing their job. The mediocrity of the middle mgrs I have had the pleasure to work with was staggering. Now they are scrambling for survival and selfassigngning merits that belong to other people. I know they will survive, after having climbed on my shoulders. But I don't have any more sh--s to give. It has been a struggle and a massive disappointment to see how my role was progressively reduced to give room to leaders egos, people who did not know their ar-e from their elbows. I don't want to work like this any longer, so will gladly take my last paycheck and severance and leave these clowns behind and look for a job where I actually LEARN something from leaders and not the other way round.
I plan to continue to do as little as is humanly possible to get thru another day. Truly, working a Citrix has always been just a paycheck to me. I quickly grew tired of all the lies about how the Workspace product defects would be resolved. Pure fantasy, in hindsight
I started job hunting as soon as they cancelled the thank you day. I'm not on notice or consultation, but it's just clear that the new overlords couldn't care less about their employees. The Citrix I know is dead, as is any culture that was there.
It's a shame, as I did like the place. Been there a bit over 4 years, and it's just.... Dead.
I've been ill the past week, and you know things have just ground to a halt when you come back, and there are about 4 emails in your inbox, and only a couple unread slack channels.
Most long timers want to stay or get a package. Short timers are okay quitting when they find a job.
Wrong was at headquarters this week . Some very good employees some long term legacy and some short term planned on staying . But let go .
