Was wondering if many teams within finance, tech, internal audit, compliance etc. That are currently short staffed, would there be many layoffs? Was wondering what can happen if cuts are made within teams that are short staffed already?

Are they being rolled into other roles are they just gone? What will MD's do without them or are these getting the axe when their MD's do?

A quick one shot layoff all the same day such as Goldman did, or long drawn out layoff that citi is doing. When Goldman laid off all those people, everybody was very critical of it, but I wonder which is worse.

Is anything going to come out this week via email on what's going on? Seems strange to have to hear rumors or media coverage.

I haven’t seen any WARN notices go out in NY. Layoffs must be limited so far.

In the midst of mass layoffs, Citi is more concerned with 'inclusive language' and trying to be like Google. Anyone else see that ridiculous CTI announcement banning words like whitelist, master contracts, etc. What a joke this place has become.

I'm sorry, but this is kind of ridiculous. The company needs to just go on and be honest with people. Do what you say you're going to do so people can move on with their lives. Enough of the rumors and leaking stuff to the media.

Let's see if today is really the day or if we'll have to wait even longer to learn if we still have a job or not.

I wonder if HR combs through these posts daily, correlates comments and feeds them straight to the upper echelon for consumption. Does anyone have any insight on this?
