I need countries, levels (C13-15), and sub-divisions (credit, market, ops etc). Thanks.

It’s not 20k of US employees it’s 20k globally. And then 40k from the divestiture in Mexico. Bringing us to 180k by 2026.
For months Citi denied it was 10% cuts across the board. Yesterday the 20,000 plus 5,000 announcement confirmed Citi was lying. The point is nobody knows who will be fired. It is still unclear. What kind of strategy is to keep everyone in the dark for month after month. It will further damage employee morale, trust, and productivity.
Frankly I will start with the London team. A joke and a big expense.
Citi is ramping up on AI for risk if that helps
I'm glad I left years ago. Jane Fraser is running that firm into the ground.
It’s final 180,000 bc that’s taking into account 40,000 Banamex employees that will be part of that divesture when it goes public. So number is still roughly 10% not 25%.
Yup because total is 240k down to 180k which is 25% cut
The media reports are saying 20,000 “US employees”. That is a key point.
Every team will be affected by beginning of 2025.
People need to understand that this may go on for years. I assume your question relates to whether you will be axed this quarter, specifically? just because you don’t get fired by the end of March, it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t get let go in a few months.
Good luck getting that from here.
All you’ll see is nonsense like, “All SVPs and Directors need to go.”
Same here. Wondering if C12s or below are on the line too. And what subdivision (retail, operations, risk, ICG, etc). At this point, if we are out we are out, just want to know. Tired of being in the shadows.
