For some people the current cuts will serve as a wake-up call. Due to the easy money that was printed in the past 15+y, many people had a pretty good ride without putting either the work or having the education needed. People like project managers, cheap and low-qualified ITs on H1B, etc. I am sorry, but you just did not deserve the life you got - easy come, easy go...

They are eating from my pie and from the pie of every hard-working smart employee... Example - 900mln loss due to 10 Mumbai risk employees.
The OP is correct though. The truth hurts Citi. Citi can only attract and convince to stay mediocre at best employees if not incompetent and skilless employees because Citi is destitute, cheap and Not profitable. GIGO Garbage In Garbage Out.
