The layoff numbers do not include Banemex employees, those will be transferred with the sale.
We lost 7k in 2023. We will lose 5k next week. 8000 over two years will probably be a mix of small layoffs and jobs not filled once people leave.
where are people getting this idea from that if the announcement is the week of January 22, people will be informed the week prior?
you seem to be saying that the announcement is the week of the 22nd, but the announcement will be the week of the 15th.
As usual the announcement is unclear on purpose.

Im assuming similar to what was done in November 23, they made announcements the week of Thanksgiving and the new layer annoucements went out a week or 2 after.
