50+ in processing and over 20 in SIU got their walking papers on Thursday. Other claims areas to be impacted over time through August as the expected transition of claims to India starts to take hold and becomes reality.

Two folks I know got their 60 day notices today. Same severance package as usual. Not certain how many impacted today for sure but there were over 20 people in their meeting. The two I know were tenured more than 5 years.

Serious companies have a plan, but is Allstate doing anything at all to prevent possible cuts? They don't seem to be doing anything about it.

I don't think so, and it's better that the purchase didn't happen. I have a bad feeling that the end of that story will be very sad, with a lot of losses and a lot of layoffs.
