Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Have you noticed???

Have you noticed that none of the current Allstate commercials mention a thing about customer service???
Not a word about the quality of service….
Corporate and marketing knows that Allstate sucks in how it services customers….will now ONLY mention supposedly lower price.
I hope that all American consumers realize that this is not the “old” Allstate and that you truly get what you pay for when you jump over to allsnake to try to save a few bucks…
The only suckers who do NOT get what they pay for are those long term loyal customers who are still paying high allsnake premiums and that will still get allsnake sucky service…….

The responders are not correct that most customers are only looking at price. You can be sure that they are not sticking around for poor claim service when they have a claim regardless of price…
Geico and Progressive have been able to combine low price AND decent claim service..
Allstate can only deliver one or the other…If that’s all that you have to offer is price, your retention will Always suffer….
Do not compare Geico and Progressive to the current Allstate…it is apples and oranges…
Geico and Progressive grow their book by delivering price and service.
Allstate “grows” by paying to buy other smaller underperforming companies…
That is not a model for long term success..
“Viva Geico and Progressive.”

Because people who buy insurance only care about low premiums. The idea that people will pay for good customer service or a personal relationship with an agent has been proven wrong in the last 10 years

Customer service is a thing of the past, unfortunately.

With self service tools and the internet, many in the younger generations are used to just doing things themselves and content with talking to an Indian call center if they need extra assistance...

This isn't the good ol days anymore.

YEARS ago when I got hired Allstate commercials actually had a jingle. That's when "You're In Good Hands" meant something. Just a little FYI. Hang in there everyone.

"Let's Make Lots of Money!" has absolutely zero to do with the customer. That commercial is almost mocking the customers and employees. That commercial exploits the employees breaking their backs under the current workplace abuses and the customers that they have fooled into overpaying through the years. Not one meeting, conference call, town hall, corporate email, or any other communication even references or focuses on the customer. They are all about how they can make and save more money and look more dominating in the insurance industry. It is all about more money in Tom and Glenn's pockets and st-----g higher ups' ego where they can take credit for any good and blame the grunts and low level management for any bads and failures.
