How was Wilson’s reputation as a Sears executive?
As the CFO of Allstate?
I assume they must have been good, considering he got the CEO job??

Tom was generally considered an excellent executive!!!
Sears was on it's way out way before Tom was an executive... Vulture capitalists doomed it decades ago.
Ask anyone under 30 if they know what Sears is. That should tell you all you need to know.
I think what happened at Sears should speak for itself.
