Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

They Can't Keep Getting Away With it!!!!

This One Claim process is unacceptable! I so not get paid to do four different roles! This is abuse! I will not stand for it. We can't let them keep doing this and just keep sitting back. Now they think they can just get away with abusing us! It must STOOOOOOP!!! 😠😠😠😠😠😠

Laid off last year - after 40 years and Yes we claim employees went through SSU - claim adjusters handled the entire claim in the early 80's and it was a disaster. Allstate stopped the ridiculous process about 18 months later. We were still getting the after affects in the 90's. Can't believe Allstate thinks it will work again. Get out while you can...................

Youre like a pilot complaining about only wanting to fly a plane, and not do takeoffs and landings.

@2ulx+1bboJTqO doesn't matter, in time India will take the work and the complainers on here will be working somewhere else or unemployed

Your answer to something Allstate tried, and subsequently realized didn't work, is to tell folks to "get used to it, and grow a pair"? You are a great problem solver. Look out everyone, we got our next change champion here. Best to get him/her/them on a committee for process changes.

Why not just start putting everyone at fault for liability

This was the model in the early 80's. Inside adjusters did it all, except auto estimating. Self sustaining units.....get used to it and grow a pair.

You're an at-will employee. Don't like the direction of the company, nothing forcing you to stay.

Jack of all trades master of none, this is going to be an absolute disaster, how are inside reps going to write estimates?? How are damage appraisers going to take statements and work injury/liability??? It’s all so insane lol, this is a new low!! Claims will pile up by the tens of thousands!! Moar!!! Moar!!! Lol!!! Here come the DOI complaints! Mass exodus!!! Then they try to have India do “one claim” handling Lol!! Allstate will be barred from writing policies in some states!!!

Nice to see the "you can always quit and work someplace else" home office hacks and shills that can't spell the word insurance are up and at it already this morning.

There is a reason claims roles are separated, and it will make perfect sense once this is up and running. Reps will do everything in their power to avoid a FNOL call, whatever estimate “quality” we now have will quickly disappear, all while potential subro and salvage recoveries go un-worked because nobody has the time to work them. Exciting times. The industry will watch as our customers switch to them.

Saves them money . Take the statements , order the police report , write the estimates , set up the rental and manage it, handle the total loss. Resolve the injury claim . One touch claim. The customer deals with only one adjuster who wull be trained to do it all in one call
