Anything happening in sales?

Marketing, quality, operations, VPs, and the contracts teams have all been affected. Positions have been consolidated, and some work has been outsourced overseas. It’s still ongoing, and word around the office is that sales could be next.

Be ready for change

It feels like I'm paying for the privilege of having a job.

I come into the office Mon-Thurs, just to log on to my computer and talk to people in Costa Rica and India. I don't talk to anyone in the office with me. Why do I need to be in the office for that?

That's torture. The stress never lets up. I'd take a few big and quick rounds over that any day.

People are getting cut this month in a division here, rumor I heard was if 3M keeps it below 50 a month they don't have to announce it publicly or notify the state? I have not heard of anyone in my division getting cut.

A little birdie has reported that Plant Engineering 3M has until December to come up with a transition plan. Not sure if to JLL or CBRE however, with an April deadline. Sorry folks, but 3M continues in its decline.
