Do you think there will be Corning layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Shared Services here… a bunch of us were told today that we have 4 weeks to train our replacements. “Restructuring.” Really… 4 weeks to find a different role in Corning or get the boot and (hopefully) find something elsewhere. Anyone else? :(

All of NA shared services jobs are being moved to Mexico. Corning NY will be a ghost town in 5 years.

Anyone know what gonna happen after the tariffs are announced ? Anything about the cuts..Just curious.

With the Holidays approaching, it's layoff season at Corning Incorporated once again. How will everyone be celebrating?

The stock prices are shooting up , so I'm sure more cuts are coming .

I've been looking for more than six months and no luck so far. Luckily, I was not laid off in the last round but I'm starting to get worried.

Small group or the sizable one? Hearing it from several people affected, but can not tell how many have been affected in total.

This will be every production worker in the valley, soon. Corning intends to remove all production operations from the area by 2027.

Corning Inc. is planning to shutter every single segment located in the Valley as possible, and move it to NC. Not everything can be moved, but if it can - it will.
