They can track everything you do at all times - doesn’t matter if you think you got around it somehow or you turn your status to offline. They know when you aren’t actively at your computer and can use it as a reason to lay you off.

How does severance work?

Do they give out to both terminated (fired) and laid off people? Is there any difference between being terminated after low rating or being laid off? How much they pay?
