There are US contractors. I don’t think a company funded by Americans and providing services to Americans should fire Americans to hire non-Americans.

Many offices were flat out closed and sold off, to reduce the real estate costs. Covid only accelerated the process. You can't return to an office that no longer exists.

RTO? Most employees I know live no where near an office and were hired with the knowledge of being remote/tele commuters.

Why would they fire contractors? It only takes 50 contractors making nothing a month to be as competent as a US employee.
