Optum has become a disappointment. All companies have the good in bad. It’s a given! No one speaks to each other, some think they’re above others. I keep seeing the same “leadership” team recognize each other. It’s laughable. Staff are going on LOA or quitting with no notice. All I hear are excuses and changes are coming! They laid off so many previous leadership and things have gotten worse! There is no sense of unity. What they don’t realize is they need us more than we need them! Let me me see the VP come in and process patients when support staff stop showing up! 😂 employees are uniting. Optum beware!

Take advantage of the Bravo's my friend. Network amongst your friends to give each other Bravos for just showing up on time or wearing plaid on Fridays. I've got 4 cordless drills, a waffle maker and 3 pairs of wayfarers out of it.
Lol... about the bravo thing, a previous manager made bravo a metric and we had to send so many per time period. We were told we had to put it on our calendars and it was going to be an end of year metric we'd be graded on. It was crazy.
Don't see things changing anytime soon. The new CEO is all bat and no ba--s.
How do you like all the pings now on Teams. If someone hi fives a comment, there are like 20 pings and such a distraction. Shouldn’t they reduce metrics if you have to stop 20 times a day to ping back.
