Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Infosys culture at Optum

The majority of Infosys' employees, about 85%, are based in India . Offshore teams handle core development, testing, and support functions, benefiting from cost efficiencies and access to a large talent pool.

The people at the top who arrived from Infosys are turning Optum to Infosys. Until those Infosys folks are gone, we have no hope

The buch of bsing people, aw had a BA Only on economics (he wasn't successful applying it). Yet he took a 8 months sabbatical to help find the vaccine for Covid19 of course he is receiving kickbacks from it.

Then candy man worked for wipro and it is friends with the owner, hence the guidance of giving Wipro preferred top contractors status. Unfortunately, a Company that once was a decent place to work, these crooks stole that image and pride with them.

As has been said many times, that UHG would offshore claims processing and access to HIPA protected member information should be illegal! I hope the DOJ comes after all these corporations doing what drives shareholder value up vs. what is best for the healthcare of Americans.

Infosys is a service company with fixed contacts, so cost cutting is the only way they can think. No focus on delivering best product which will give ROI 1000x, they think in pennies while forgoing millions and billions

There is a new article about the company on June 8. It says "Cognizant may have renewed $1B deal with UnitedHealth". So more outsourcing will be happening soon.
