CDO vs CTO

Why does Juniper need CDO and CTO both, One should report other one, No need to have two roles, except Juniper paying much to them. I believe there shouldn't be a CDO and all engineering must report to CTO. CTO should set directions to generate... — read more

Juniper / NASDAQ Event

I wonder how much money did Juniper wasted to fly employees to be at that Nasdaq event.

Juniper future

With the MX pge brain drain and loss of core talent, what is going to be juniper future. I didn’t see any panic from leadership to stop talent attrition.

Juniper Doesn't Care About Inside Talent

I'm a loyal American to the company that hires me. I have and will always work hard no matter the job given to me. I have been with this company for so long, I have built so many amazing relationships internally and with customers. I was screwed over... — read more

Fungible raised $200m

it means, Juniper can't buy this company as it has to pay at least $1B to investors. Glad that it is not 2nd contrail. Contrail is an acquisition on purely internal politics.

I am glad that there are no layoff news for a while. Hope all of you enjoy the huge bonus to be given in August.

Sunnyvale land sale

A real estate friend my mine said there’s movement to sell the land Juniper holds in Sunnyvale. The empty land around headquarters. I’m sure it’s worth a fortune but I wonder why?? Desperate to raise cash? Remember when we were going to have a dozen... — read more

I quit. You should do the same.

After KK and NK jumped I did some soul searching. What has this place become. It’s not the Juniper of yore. With BG here it seems RR and MJ just want to create Cisco 2 with a fraction of the resources. That’s a losing game. Juniper did best when we... — read more

Quick question

How likely are you to be working at Juniper in one year?

Westford is closing this fall

Long rumored. Finally here. Building to be sold. Projects shutdown or moved elsewhere. Mostly shutdown though.

Fake 5G until you make 5G

Juniper's biggest customer has picked up the fake it till you make it mantra for 5G, possibly following Juniper's own 5G deception since neither company has real 5G technology to offer... — read more

Why CSCO lift as rocket yet JNPR like a snail

Since RR joined, CSCO was around $30 JNPR like $25, now after 3-4 years CSCO is about to hit $60 while JNPR is sitting around $24 - $30 for f---ing years, what is RR contribution actually. And I am not sure what is your team looks like but people in... — read more

The problem with Juniper goes far beyond engineering

The problem with Juniper go FAR, FAR beyond just engineering. Yes, engineering has always been the core of Juniper's strengths, but clearly the issues are more than just engineering, technology and product. Look at the circus that has become GTM. RR... — read more

For Those Who Have RSUs (or Not)...

When one stays at a company for many, many years, certain things start to happen gradually. And that gradual becomes the "norm", when it shouldn't be the norm. Weekly stealth layoffs and a stock that doesn't go anywhere are some things that have... — read more

Juniper hates women?

Why is no one from Juniper involved in WICT? No one listed as supporting on the web site.

Promotion does not mean you are safe

In case anybody was wondering - being promoted provides absolutely no protection from being laid off. I was laid off just a few months after being promoted and getting a raise. I didn't even get to celebrate properly, I was on my way out. So yeah... — read more

Juniper Bangalore?

How is it like working at Juniper Bangalore? From this forum I see some negative comments. If you work at Juniper Bangalore can you share some comments? I got an offer from Juniper. Should I work there?

Is RR trying to drive JNPR stock price down?

How else can you explain his (and his staff's) decision making over the past 6-12 months. Maybe E (nordic telecom giant) or others will only buy JNPR if the stock is cheaper. For someone who speaks about "culture" and the "Juniper Way" all the time... — read more
