Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

The problem with Juniper goes far beyond engineering

The problem with Juniper go FAR, FAR beyond just engineering. Yes, engineering has always been the core of Juniper's strengths, but clearly the issues are more than just engineering, technology and product. Look at the circus that has become GTM. RR brought in a new sales leader only to dismiss him after a couple months. GTM has always been a bit of secondary thought at Juniper (no offense meant to the GTM team), but it has gotten much worse the last couple years. I think one of the biggest problems was when PS formally left. Once he left, there was no one to ensure that RR and his executive staff stayed true to Juniper's principles. We have seen what RR has done to the company and it is sad to watch

Of course they are building Empires in Bangalore. Bangalore always stood for "Bang Galore". No wonder that is one of the epicenters of sodomising Juniper

When any leadership team is incompetent and has been created by promoting or hiring in friends and family members, without evaluating aptitude and attitude to get the job done, it becomes necessary for them to resort to politics, micromanagement and bullying.

At Juniper, we see this everywhere. Engineering, Marketing, Sales... You name it. Juniper is led by an incompetent leadership team that is incapable of correcting any of their flawed behaviors, and that is why Juniper will soon be irrelevant, if not already.

The engineering leaders @juniper are highly political and building their own empire.

They let lot of good engineers to leave the company and hence obvious worst
