Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Attrition is due to people being pushed out... the head of PM in every group when BK joined is gone -- however, they are all doing better elsewhere.

Well, there is a huge attrition at Juniper where people at all levels, from SVP downwards are leaving in hordes for Cisco

*-eqto, Numbers may or may not be manufactured, but they sure are manipulated to shine a brighter light on some products. This cannot sustain, because sooner of later, auditors will swoop in and find out the real deal with all this financial misreporting. Wall street must know some numbers reported publicly by JNPR just don't add up. However, with or without this trickery, and the ongoing cuts, juniper has managed to maintain a positive impression by some miracle. How long can it last?

I wish the problem was only RR! Many of those around him are either in it for some money (ML) or saw JNPR as an easy path to a C-suite role they couldn't earn at their old company (BK). In addition, we have legacy JNPR folks that seem only interested in building and maintaining their own personal kingdom (AA). The rest of the Sr. leaders are just filler with little power and influence -- and yes that include KM whose only job seems to be to manufacture numbers out of thin air!

Oh boy. Cisco’s numbers sure rub it in as they seem to do every quarter. Rami’s a nice guy. Everyone loves him. But it’s truly a miracle that he continues to survive.
