Since RR joined, CSCO was around $30 JNPR like $25, now after 3-4 years CSCO is about to hit $60 while JNPR is sitting around $24 - $30 for f---ing years, what is RR contribution actually. And I am not sure what is your team looks like but people in our team are very worried about the layoff, cannot focus on their job, this is happening on the team's top performers as well, no one feels safe and no one has confidence for the future.

It appears as if JD was sent into Juniper as an informant for Cisco. When he gathered enough intelligence of things that happen at Juniper, he decided to step down and came back to Cisco where he was welcomed.
I think JD has something to do with why JNPR stock is half of Cisco stock.
@Z8k9ImU-3mkf That's incorrect. Your RSUs will be made whole when you switch jobs. This is basic mandatory stuff covered under salary negotiation for EVERY new employee.
But alas, those RSUs keep me. I’m just not good enough on the open market to cover the lost $$ in RSUs if I left.
Excellent posts and thank you. It will not improve with VP, SR. Directors and directors who are MIA most of the time. Look around.
Also the senior leaders are just not very smart people. These people are the B- team regarding basic intelligence so of course they make the decisions they make. They are just dummies. They read the books “how to run a high tech company for dummies “ and this is where they get their ideas and strategies.
Seriously, look for other jobs and leave. There is ZERO future at this company. The tech job market is really hot all over the world. Please get your resume together and send it out. You are good and have great skills. Get away from these stupid, mean losers who are holding you back from work place happiness. Do it!!!!
Amazing summary. Every one promoted, encouraged, coddled and groomed here is because of their relation or affiliation to the leaders in power or by some other means. Most corrupt cesspool of the entire tech industry.
Let's not compare apple's and oranges. Cisco has a much wider product portfolio, provides solutions (that actually work) for a much larger customer base in many more service provider, Enterprise and government verticals, and is run by a smarter group of leaders, with the exception of a few clowns that we sent over there.
We could compare the apples that work at juniper and the bad apples that run it. No leader or decision maker at juniper will do what's good for the company or the employees, except themselves. They are all selfish, self-serving, self-promoting asshōles who think and do things only to advance their own careers. They are quick to fire any and everyone that wants juniper to do well.
This is a huge problem, not only for juniper but also for it's shareholders and investors. This is why the previous CEO was under tremendous pressure to react to to Elliott Management, which filed a report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in January 2014, urging Juniper to reduce operating expenses, reevaluate its product portfolio and scale back on R&D spend. SK was dilligent and professional as he maneuveref the choppy waters of layoffs, budget cuts and portfolio changes. He was transparent, not just with employees, but also the shareholders.
Some may argue RR has done better. On the contrary, RR has played politics, misled everyone with a bunch of lies, and hired or promoted con-men, crooks and thieves, with bad character, no professional aptitude nor a good attitude, which has resulted in a lousy work environment for all. One that resembles a cesspool, where the scum floats to the top. That in a nutshell is Juniper Networks today. A shïthole.
