LinkedIn votes PepsiCo Hyderabad as the top companies for career growth. Is that true?? I have heard horror stories and frequent attrition.

I understand it's a business decision. What makes me furious is that they recently hired someone for double my pay for my role as a contractor in Hyderabad. Whats worse is that I interviewed that person a year ago and he knew nothing of any technology, I even flagged that the profile could be a fabricated one.

They are likely to make a decision shortly regarding the GCC structure and associated work effort. Cognizant and Infosys appear to be the leading contenders for the GCC efforts. Heard some concerns that the process may have been influenced in a way that disproportionately favors Indian IT firm Infosys. Several technology leaders who work extensively with these partners were not included in the evaluation process

I’ve been offered a job in India (not in engineering), but after reading reviews on here and on Glassdoor, I’m not getting a very optimistic impression overall and the hiring/interviewing experience was subpar. I also have another offer I’m weighing. Could anyone share firsthand insights on what it’s like working at the Hyderabad office — in terms of stability, culture, growth prospects, and leadership?

Additionally, I’ve been hearing that the engineering function has been transitioned to Global Logic. Is there any risk of similar changes for non-tech teams as well?

Appreciate any perspectives.

US-headquartered Truist Financial plans to set up a tech centre in Hyderabad, and has floated a tender for firms to set it up and initially manage it. Infosys, a Truist vendor, is likely to bid for the contract pegged at least $250 million. The centre aims to hire 3,000 employees over five years.
