The days of Fannie Mae being the best company to work in is now gone. 5 days in-person, constant stress from layoffs, political environment, no promotions.. 30% of my team just gone… Not even contractors. They are FTE

My original assumption is that fully remote workers are going to get laid off soon since this guy is adamant about enforcing full RTO. But who knows these days..

Curious what (if any) severance they’ve been giving people during these re-orgs. Is it paid as a lump sum or every 2 weeks like a usual paycheck? Do they give a few weeks/month of benefits so these folks aren’t scrambling for immediate coverage?

Layoffs happened this morning again, close to 100 people from COO got laid off

Heard there was a call this morning with FTEs.

What number does the big boss have in mind? The layoffs won't stop til that number is reached.

Big money is at stake. Seasoned pro is required.

Can’t believe she didn’t even announce it herself and had someone else speak for her. She’s probably just done with all the ** and called it quits.

I doubt the higher ups would announce more layoffs so close to the holidays. They probably want to avoid the negative press that would come with it.
