Any idea when cuts will be over for a while? It seems the company will need to let their employees relax and be comfortable with knowledge they will have their job for a bit so the teams can get to work and not worry about the need to job search.

Layoff hitting sales as well as well in various office and product overlay roles. Seems there was a mandatory headcount reduction across most groups. I know of some in New England, NY and NJ.

Layoffs seem to be across a wide range of groups. Can confirm the previous post about Neutrino being shut down, with staff either being moved to other groups or laid off.

Neutrino (ASD) was canned. Managers and ICs laid off on 11/30/2016. More to come in late 2016, early 2017.

The layoffs in Mid-October 2016 was reportedly between 2000-3000 employees, and only refers to Dell / EMC employees. I wonder how much larger the actual is when the layoffs within VMware are included as well.

Any rumors within EMC about what will happen to Dell storage? Dell might be buying EMC, but as far as Dell storage goes, it's more like the opposite, with EMC folks being in charge.
