I wrote a very strong email, and got a response. It will be paid next week.
For sure, we are laid off not because of our reason, we should get this money.

If your severance period carried you through March (I can't recall the date) when the LTI award would've been awarded, you should get it. At least that's what my folks were told in November that were let go.
You are laid off, so probably Dell will follow his word...
