Layoff hitting sales as well as well in various office and product overlay roles. Seems there was a mandatory headcount reduction across most groups. I know of some in New England, NY and NJ.

1 Lump Sum and a Dell Tablet
Franklin manufacturing was moved around, lot of contractors let go. Jobs back filled with current employees The offices where hit too about 4 weeks ago maybe less.
Rumours are now it's Franklin's turn. Hopefully not true. But if is, hopeful those folks get healthy packages.
Is sales severance package just base pay or estimated on target earnings. (Base+commissions+bonus)?
That is very poor of them (but no surprise) paying out two lump sums vs one at their discretion when they are messing with people lives who have families to support . Did you receive the payments yet or did they provide a payment schedule. Also, is there anything in the severance package restricting you from working and not receiving the payments. I am asking because I will be getting my notice next week.
So I got 2 lump sums to be paid at Dells leisure.
I am on their health insurance for the full time of my severance.
I do know they are changing all of this to suit themselves better.
Does anyone know what the severance packages include. I heard one lump sum payment and Cobra almost immediately to get everyone off the books right away.
Dell does offer Cake and Party hats just like they did to Quest SW.
