XtremIO is just fine. There was a general downsizing.
It might be closed in the future, but for now, its just fine.
Any update from "Jungle"? Apparently works in XtremIO group with first hand knowledge.
Are we confirmed R&D at israel closed down?
XtremIO fired a number of workers yesterday. 3 April 2017
All outsourced staff and a number of its fixed workers. Approx 20 %
XtremIO Is dead, wait for the results. Dell will stop production.
guys =) just stop pushing bs =) the product is fine
XIO WAS pulled form the salesbook. We were told to stop pushing it.
LOL nothing but problem with XIO. They were way oversold and the customers hate it. VMAX flash is eating its lunch.
Just to confirm to people who want to take advantage of me posting in here. XtremIO is not EOL and it of course not being pulled from Sales, if anything its going better and better for us . The question was directed to people like myself working in the support structure . I have confirmed that no one as of today had been let go in any of the location .
thanks
it used to be 33% of the products for XtremIO went up against Pure it is not even 3% anymore.
I was told by EE that this product was on its way out they were going to keep Unity.
The numbers have been dropping rapidly, also announced is the X2 platform with unified Fluid File Support. There has already been a mass exodus of the team with all of the failures in the field.
XtremIO is a top selling product so not being dropped anytime soon. I smell a dirty rat here.
XtremIO is so far unaffected. It's not an EOL product, and has not been pulled from the sales book.
XtremIO will be affected as it is a end of life product.
It was pulled from the sales book..
