Layoff wave 1 numbers

Does anyone have any data on the number of pink slips that went out for the 1st wave? I'm not seeing the impacts posted for non engineering departments. Speea is showing 438, and south Carolina for the most part dodged the 1st wave. It's looking... — read more

Targeted Layoffs?

Does anyone else feel the layoffs were targeted to the employees who were voicing concerns?

Komo news said machinists will be laid off

Glad that my job is safe as a machinist

We are the core of Boeing and happy that management values us, thats why we got 38% raise. The extra baggage needs to be gone as they are taking away profit for Boeing. We need more IAM workers to replace them.

Another sleepless night

I've had more of those than I care to say lately due to Boeing. I usually roll my eyes at people who say they're going to quit for this or that reason as I see it as exaggerating, but I think I'm finally at the point where I'm going to say and do the... — read more

I do not trust the IAM or SPEEA Unions

I am a member of SPEEA and it's not by choice. In the last four years I have not received any raises. I contacted by SPEEA Union Rep to complain, and the Rep never responded back to me. My not getting a raise is not due to any performance issues... — read more

So tomorrow we will know more

Whatever happens next, I hope it will happen fast. I wouldn’t be able to endure weeks or months of uncertainty, or waiting daily for the axe to fall.

Contractor VS Supplier loophole

Typically the "contractors" are first to go during layoffs but apparently leadership figured a loophole. By retitling the "contractors" to "suppliers" the "suppliers" may be exempt from the layoffs.

Boeing Ridley

Boeing Layoffs 2025

Make a prediction and tell us what you think about Boeing layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Good luck to all of us next week

I’ve been hearing all kinds of rumors as to how many people and which teams will be affected. I will rather wait for WARN to come out. Until then, we can all just go nuts from speculating.

Massive Layoffs!!

The coming layoffs in 2025 & 2026 will be unlike any Boeing has ever experienced since the inception of the company. It will also affect many other suppliers in the process.

I was going to vote yes on this contract

I was going to vote yes on this contract but ever since they start threatening our jobs and what they’re going to do if we don’t vote yes on this contract with threatening language like that I will Vote No.
