Our jobs are on the line and they reward the lazy machinists 38% pay increase and $12k bonus. And to do the layoffs right before the holidays is cruel.

The IAM has never been immune from layoffs.
With this 12k in my pocket I might even spring for room service in the hotel with your old lady.
That's plenty for another vacation home on the coast when my other 3 are paid off due to overtime from incompetent management and engineers.
Better be “pulling” more than 160k to buy another home in this economy
I'm so glad I can buy my truck now while you useless paper pushers are out the door. AI is replacing office workers in the future. I suggest maybe getting some trade school skills for your futures.
If you are jealous of the Machinists or don't make enough money, get an IAM job.
Dont worry, I'll take good care of your old lady on the side now that I'm pulling 160k, going to buy a second vacation home, she will love it.
The machinists are lazy and entitled they will get theirs.
You sound like the entitled one. You could have had an IAM job since they have always been historically the most secure.
Machinists not getting laid off. Rate increases next year. If you don't actually physically work on the airplane or airplane parts, you are really not needed and this is where a majority of cuts will be. And needed. Sorry, just the way it is. You will see the plan tomorrow. We just looked it over.
BSC * Non-Union * 9% + 2.00 + 4% and 12K....
Too bad there isn't a division of the union, like in speea. All the rejects are giving actual machinists a bad name. There may be only 1,000 actual machinists in the puget sound. The majority are useless unskilled assemblers. But, they will get their notices.
The machinists will blow through their $12k bonus and think things at Boeing are fine and they are indispensable, then they will get their WARN notice. Employers in Washington state wont touch a machinist with a barge pole, they are notorious for being lazy and unemployable.
I cant wait to see the layoffs hit the machinists, they are beyond entitled and no local company will hire them.
Get over it, don't like the game, stop playing.
If you think about it is not cruel... Company has had about 5 year of losses and we still kept our jobs... There is simply no money
Don’t worry they will get theirs.
