Just like the great financial crisis, the mortgage companies sold what they could. They sold the good mortgages because they could not sell the bad ones. I believe the company will sell their good divisions to fund what they cannot sell - their commercial division.

I have no idea what the digital aviation business unit makes in profit these days but it seems short sighted to sell off the only aviation database in the world, a complete Boeing monopoly, for a few billion. Digital aviation makes over 100 products for ground and airborne operations along with the aviation database. It would seem a desperate move to sell that business unit for a few bucks.
