Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

I do not trust the IAM or SPEEA Unions

I am a member of SPEEA and it's not by choice.
In the last four years I have not received any raises.
I contacted by SPEEA Union Rep to complain, and the Rep never responded back to me.
My not getting a raise is not due to any performance issues either. I have had Exceed and Far Exceeded on the last four year-end performance close outs.
Is this happening to other people under SPEEA?

The collusion between the company and the unions are sickening. One blames the other and the little union member gets the sc--w.

SPEEA is a joke. Years ago, I approached SPEEA about my pay. They investigated by looking at peers in my skill code with the same retention level and number of years at Boeing. I always had good performance reviews too, which I shared with the SPEEA focal so that was not an issue. Turns out I was underpaid worse than I originally thought. The SPEEA focal stated after their investigation they realized that I was 30% underpaid compared to my peers in my skill code and Boeing division I worked in. The SPEEA focal told me they were going to take my case to Boeing to show the inequality in my pay among peers. Nothing came about it. At that point I lost all respect for Boeing and realized the word Integrity is just a buzz word Boeing tosses around but doesn't really believe in it nor does Boeing practice it.

If your councel rep doesn't get back to you then contact your contract administrator. You just have to look at your own Union's website.

Sad to say but only nepo executives and fools are still at Boeing. This is why Boeing is ultimately doomed but not until after the executives drain the last dollars from Boeing.

The company will try to pay the least amount to a worker in order to save money. They will not give you the pay that you believe you should be paid. Fight for your worth effectively.

When I worked at the company, I would give notice if I wasn't making enough. They came back during the same week with $5/hr raise. If you feel you deserve more money, find another job, then give the company 2-week notice. If they throw more money at you - great. If not, then work for another company that appreciates your contribution. It is in your hands if you want to earn more.

A lot of employees get abused at Boeing. That is a major problem because no one in Boeing leadership puts a stop to it.

Welcome to the club. I'm no longer in Speea, but am a design engineer. My raises have been 3% per year, even though I always far exceed during evaluations. It's actually more lucrative to be a mt these days, boeing doesn't give a sh-t about engineers anymore.

Your Management team decided your Merit raises, not your union.
